Classroom News DECEMBER

Thank you to all the parents who helped with International Fair!

Chumash field trip slips went home last week.  Please return with payment by this Friday.  The museum does not allow any extra chaperones besides the teacher.  I apologize for the inconvenience.  I need parent volunteers to drive only and pick up once we are done with the field trip.  The museum is in Thousand Oaks.

We are starting a new chapter on multiplication.  Friendly notes went home.  We will be completing timed tests 0-12.  We will be working towards an ice cream party.

Please have your child practice their 10s.  They can practice with flashcards.  The timed test will be on 12/12.

The next book report is a biography report.  The book needs to be read over Winter Break.  Write your notes and type up your summary.  The presentation will be in the form of a puppet show.  The book will need to be read by January 11.  Bring your notes and typed summary to class on January 14th.  The puppet show will be on January 18.  *I will need parent volunteers to help make the puppets on 1/15 from 11:30-12:30 and 1:15-2:15.
